NEW CLASS
So much to do; so little time--(And fewer people, as well!)
Work groups in today’s organizations tend to be smaller yet responsible for larger workloads. The challenge is high performance under stress and with limited resources. A high-performance work group--no matter the size--must establish its own vision, character, norms, and goals and build on the contributions of each member. When this happens, groups achieve increased commitment from their members and enhanced communication. They also achieve high degrees of self and mutual accountability.
This two-day workshop helps participants understand how to gain commitment while meeting desired outcomes, turn disciplinary action into performance management, and reduce conflict by using active listening skills and assertive leadership. It reviews the tools needed for building accountability into the work group culture. Participants learn the importance of keeping agreements, how to create a greater sense of empowerment, and how to improve morale by building stronger relationships.
