class summary
Leadership through influence
Many of today's workplaces are flatter, matrixed organizations in which effective associates must exercise various kinds of influence to gain the resources, support, and cooperation needed to get things done. This two-day class assists individuals faced with the challenge of completing tasks by influencing others: upward, downward, and laterally; as well as individually or in teams.
Classroom discussion and activities will deal with common issues individuals face almost daily in working with others. Participants will learn ways to make interactions with co-workers more productive, task-focused, and effective.
This class is ideally suited for work group members as well as project leaders, team leaders, supervisors, and managers.
