Upstate South Carolina businesses improve and grow a healthy economic climate by promoting sound business practices and creating cooperative solutions through affiliation with the Upstate Employers Network (formerly known as the Spartanburg Development Association).
A group of business and civic leaders formed our organization in 1959 to provide central, easily accessed resources for its members. We are funded primarily through membership dues and the services it provides. These services include seminars, custom training, publications and consulting.
We are the only not-for-profit employers association headquartered in the Palmetto State. We serve employers of all types and sizes in Upstate South Carolina counties.
